On the afternoon of May 4th, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) was honored to receive the delegation of Dr. Puangrat Kajitvichynukul – Director of Research Center for Environment and Development, Dr. Jirapat Ananpattarachai, Lecturer of Building Faculty from University of Naresuan, Thailand and Associate Professor – Dr. Bui Xuan Thanh – Head of Water Science and Technology of Polytechnic University of Ho Chi Minh City to visit and work at the university.
Delegates from DNTU were Dr. Doan Manh Quynh, Vice Rector of the university, Dr. Tran Thanh Dai, Dean of the Faculty of Food – Environment – Nursing, Mr. Quach An Binh – Vice Head Office of International Relations Department of Dong Nai Technology University.
At the meeting, after the introduction about the foundation and development process of Naresuan University and Dong Nai Technology University, the parties focused on discussing the promotion of the doctorate programs at Naresuan University. Certainly with this coordination, the university will be able to train not only students but also to improve the faculties to become knowledgeable, well-qualified people.
Naresuan University is a public university of Thailand, established in 1990, located in Phitsanulok Province. Naresuan University has 16 faculties, with 914 lecturers, 248 assistant professors, 112 associate professors and 8 professors; Naresuan University provides training program from the bachelor to the doctoral degree. Among 9,263 graduates from Naresuan University in 2010, there were 7.053 bachelors, 2.153 masters and 57 doctors. Naresuan University is internationally recognized as one of the most prestigious universities in the Kingdom of Thailand.
